Telangana Schools Summer Camps Certain Instructions to All MEOs: Telangana Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan, Warangal AMO has given certain instructions on Summer Camps to all below said mandal education officers. He has requested to all the MEOs, that ensure the following items.
Summer Camps Certain Instructions to All MEOs:
1. Please collect the day wise attendance of the summer camps and consolidate day wise and send to DPO, SSA, Warangal. There is a decline in attendance in many centers. Ask the CRPs to visit the parents and atleast have a touch with mobile. Ur personal visit to such centers should be the top priority.
2. Please do phone monitoring by calling CRPs and interact with the children there.
3. Already more than 12 days have finished. There is no baseline data. I do not understand why u are taking much time to get the data.
4. Please observe what CRPs are teaching, whether it is based on the pre-test result. Such attempt is very low, which is much desirable. Giving common task to all the children irrespective of their ability does not help.
5. Some centers are performing with all activities, but some centers are not doing well, activities are not appealing to the children. U focus on such centers. Make frequent visits of such centers helps them to improve their efficiency. If the centers deliver the goods effectively, we can minimize the absentees.
6. Roping of NGOs/Community to support the refreshments is desirable. Invite the local community, parents, and NGOs to help the children in studies and in doing the activities also is very much important.
7. Invite the parents to visit the center and appraise what the children are doing, what is their improvement, what activities they are doing.
8. Focus on spoken English.
9. In some centers the material is not provided. Ensure that the material is provided.
10.Instruct the CRPs to conduct mid-term test on 12th May in all centers and report the progress of achievement.
11. Give instructions to MEOs through DEOs to intensify their visits to summer camps.
12. Focus on improving the attendance, and children performance. Otherwise all this efforts will go waste.
