All the Mandal Educational Officers and Headmasters in the district are informed that, Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act, 2009 came into force from April, 1, 2010. As per the Section 19 (2) of RTE Act, all schools shall fulfill the norms of RTE Act in respect of infrastructure within a period of 3 Years i.e., by March, 2013. Four years have already passed. Hence, it is proposed to know the status of RTE Act compliant schools in the district. Accordingly a mandal level committee has been formed as the Mandal Educational Officer as convener and the Cluster Resource Persons are members to visit all the schools in their respective mandal and get the status from all the schools in the prescribed Proforma.
Further, a one day orientation programme is proposed on RTE Act, its provisions and norms to all the Mandal Educational Officers, School Complex Headmasters, DLMTs and Cluster Resource Persons in the district on 31st July, 2014 from 10.00 am to 1.00 pm at Ambedkar Bhavan, Hanamakonda.
Therefore, all the Mandal Educational Officers, School Complex Headmasters, DLMTs and Cluster Resource Persons in the district are requested to attend the one day orientation programme on 31st July, 2014, at Ambedkar Bhavan, Hanamakonda without fail.
